Deletei am a new follower via email. i love what you did with the laura burch fabric! if it ever needs a new home, i will be more than honored to hand quilt it and donate for a raffle quilt for our local humane society. i live in a county now that is just building a no kill animal shelter. the county i moved from had just built a larger, updated shelter and i donate two quilts for them to auction off. one went for five hundred dollars and the other sold for three hundred fifty dollars. i have quilted for over forty years. all of my quilts are hand pieced, hand quilted and donated. i am such an animal lover, i am always glad to help no kill shelters. i have one inside dog. she is a box/pit mix and was a bait dog for fights. she has all kind of scars from it. she loves to lay in the sun and look out the window, but if she sees a large dog, she starts shaking uncontrolably. she is always entertaining and funny. i receive less than four hundred dollars montly for disability, so buying fabric is not an option. sometimes i win fabric and sometimes wonderful bloggers send me scraps, orphan blocks etc. keep up the great work. blessings, barbara babscorbitt@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteBarbara, thanks for the offer, but I am a Laurel Burch fan and I am keeping the quilt for myself. I do however, have a bunch of extra fabric in dogs and cats that I would be happy to send to you to make a quilt. Please send me your address and I will put together a bunch. Thanks for writing. Kay
