What am I working on?  I laughed because my cousin said she couldn't start something new because she said she has a few things started already.  Jeez, I wish I only had "a few things" and all my others were done!  In progress, I have a quilt to hand sew the binding:

This quilt is a special one for me because I worked on it for 2 years and it is one of my absolute favorites.  It is Berties' Year by Bonnie Sullivan.  Wool applique on flannel.

Then I have a BOM from my local quilt shop, Quilt Cove in Eagan, and we are to month five.  I am totally up to date, using some flannels I got at a quilt shop garage sale in St. Cloud at Grubers.  I am really looking forward to next week when we get the sixth clue and hopefully some of those pieces get put together.

I also have a smaller girl's quilt that I am putting together,
a fairly easy one.
And a trio of smaller projects, a BOM called Vintage Treasures that a friend is sharing in Facebook and a couple of minis for my daughter, both wool on cotton.  I will talk about my process in the Vintage Treasures in a later post.

These are just the things I a currently working on.  I have a quilt at the quilter and about six other UFOs, and I haven't got a count on the ones I haven't started yet.  But I am getting them done, several in progress at a time...

Have a great day!

Every week she plans to do a you tube video to have us work on a specific free motion pattern.  She will do two blocks every week, one traditional and one a bit different.

My daughter gave me this awesome picture for Christmas.  Since I love the old Singer machines it is so perfect.  It looks like my vintage 301.  It is hung right where my sewing table comes against the wall.  Right where I see it every time I sew.

What special sewing item that isn't something used directly in your sewing have you received lately?

This is one of my latest finishes.  It has Laurel Burch horses and is very pretty.  When I get more pictures of it, I am going to put it up for sale on my website.  I have four quilts so far to start to put up for sale.  I have a few more in process and I would have gotten them done sooner except I was sewing like crazy for Christmas.

The pattern for this was a mystery quilt by Debby Caffrey done by my LQS, Quilt Cove in Eagan Minnesota.
